phone box or defibrillator?

We want to know what you want - A phone box or defibrillator?   A proposal has been made that we should turn our telephone box on the village green into a defibrillator station containing a unit that anyone could use in the case of a heart emergency. 

The machine itself gives step by step spoken instructions on how to use it but in addition a doctor living locally has offered to give training sessions free of charge to anyone interested.  The parish council support this idea but realise that it means the removal of a public telephone facility (apart from emergency calls).  Anyone having a point of view on this proposal please make it known to any parish councillor.
