Sports events at 12pm!
The annual Village Sports and Summer Gathering takes place this Saturday.
The Sports will now start at the earlier time of 12pm due to England 🏴 fantastic win last night and getting through to the quarter finals on Saturday.
Kicking off events will be the fancy dress followed by the usual races. All children in the Parish and attending Bassenthwaite school are welcome to participate.
After the footie the famous egg throwing contest and the tug-of-war will take place before enjoying a fabulous Hog Roast for just £5.
The bar will be open and serving refreshments including tea and coffee.
The forecast is looking fantastic so bring your sun hats and plenty of sun cream
